Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) often strikes without warning. There's little time to react and no time to think, so it's important to have the HeartSine® samaritan® PAD 350P defibrillator on hand.
The 350P is a clinically advanced, lightweight, compact, easy-to-use, and portable AED. Audio and visual prompts guide the user step by step through the rescue process. From trained first aiders to professional responders, the 350P is designed so that anyone, anywhere, anytime can save a life.
The 350P uses HeartSine's practical Pad-Pak™, which incorporates the battery and electrodes in a single-use cartridge – meaning only one expiration date to monitor and only one item to replace after use. The 350P is suitable for use on adults and children. For children younger than 8 years or weighing less than 25kg (55 lbs.), a Pediatric-Pak™ is available.
The HeartSine samaritan PAD is an automated external defibrillator (AED) that analyzes the heart rhythm and delivers an electrical shock to victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in order to restore the heart to normal rhythm.
In addition, a CPR tone and flashing icon coaches the rescuer in delivering chest compressions according to ERC 2010 Guidelines. It's lifesaving, pure and simple.
Here are the key differentiators for the samaritan 350P:

Forward Hearts lets survivors of a sudden cardiac arrest event, in which a HeartSine defibrillator has been used, to potentially save another life by donating a HeartSine samaritan® PAD to the charity or organization of the survivor's choice.
HeartSine is committed to saving lives and making public access Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) more readily available. The donation of a HeartSine defibrillator through the Forward Hearts program extends this life-saving technology to even more people, offering many a better chance of survival in the case of sudden cardiac arrest.
When a HeartSine samaritan PAD AED is used to save a life, the local distributor works to connect everyone involved – the owner of the site, the survivor, and HeartSine – to begin the donation program. The survivor can choose to make his/her donation to the charity anonymously and confidentially, or as part of a public announcement. HeartSine and the local distributor will coordinate the donation and the presentation to the charity. To celebrate the life-saving event, the donation is made in the survivor's name, in HeartSine's name, and in the local distributor's name.
If you have a Forward Hearts story, or know of someone who survived a sudden cardiac arrest due to a HeartSine AED, please share your story with us by completing a Forward Hearts form below.

HeartSine has taken an innovative approach to maintenance items by incorporating the AED electrodes and batteries into one single-use cartridge called the Pad-Pak™. The advantage to the Pad-Pak is that there is only one date to monitor and only one item to replace upon expiration or after use.
The Pad-Pak is suitable for use on adults and children. For children younger than eight years or weighing less than 25 kg/55 lbs, HeartSine offers the Pediatric-Pak™. The HeartSine PAD's built-in intelligence and unique Pediatric Pad-Pak ensure the appropriate energy level is delivered for children.
Each Pad-Pak/Pediatric-Pak has an industry-first four-year life, and provides 60 shocks or six hours of continuous monitoring. When battery power is down to ten shocks or less, the HeartSine samaritan PAD emits an audible beep.
The clinical information in event data contributes to product updates and fuels new product development activities. By downloading this data immediately following the use of the AED during a Sudden Cardiac Arrest, your contribution to these activities is immeasurable.
