Where is the CPR and First Aid training done?
We do Off-Site training. Our Instructors come to your home, office, organization, wherever you want the training to take place. The only things we need are a TV (a DVD player would be helpful), a small table and chairs for everyone in attendance. We teach courses with as little as 5 people

How much do the First Aid or CPR certification courses cost?
Although we offer one Pet First Aid and Pet CPR course, we also teach regular First Aid, CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) classes. We do offer discounts to larger groups, so the best ways to see how much your training would be is to call us. We will teach courses with as little as 5 people. We also accept credit cards

What are all of the CPR and first aid courses that we offer?
We offer courses in:

Healthcare Professional CPR...these are designed for healthcare professional, EMS, Police, Lifeguards, etc.

HeartSaver CPR & AED...these are designed for the general public.

Friends & Family CPR...these are designed for babysitters, grandparents, and those who just want a basic knowledge of CPR without a certification

Basic First Aid...this course offers a basic understanding of first aid. Recognizing problems and showing you what can and cannot be done while waiting for emergency responders to arrive.

Basic Pediatric First Aid...this course offers a basic understanding of pediatric first aid. Recognizing problems and showing you what can and cannot be done while waiting for emergency responders to arrive. This course also places an emphasis on dealing with children with asthma.

Wilderness First Aid...designed for those that spend time hiking & camping in the wilderness. If you are a Boy Scout or someone that spends alot of time in the wilderness, this is a great course to have.

Bloodborne Pathogen...this course offers an awareness to preventing, recognizing and implementing the skills needed to handle a bloodborne pathogen emergency. We will explain the different types of exposure, how they are transmitted and about exp[osure control plans. These are designed for healthcare professionals or anyone working with hazards.

Child and Babysitting Safety...designed for the first time babysitter. How to recognize and handle common situations while caring for a children.

First Responder...designed for emergency responders. This national certification covers recognizing, treating and preparing victims of injuries or illness for transport to medical facilities. This course is primarily for police officers, firefighters, lifeguards, first aider

What are the training materials needed for a CPR and/or First Aid off-site training course?
Each class is different and materials for each class are designed for those classes specifically.

The Pet First Aid and CPR class will have a dog manikin to practice CPR on as well as basic first aid material such as bandages, muzzles, etc.

The CPR courses will have manikins to perform chest compressions, give rescue breaths and AED's to shock the victims. All CPR courses also show how to treat choking victims.
First aid classes include all bandaging & splinting materials, backboards, how to improvise equipment and much more.
All classes include books and/or other educational material

What certification will I receive?
We offer training from the National Safety Council (NSC), American Heart Association (AHA), American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) and the American Red Cross (ARC). Depending on the course we teach and from which agency, certifications can be from 1-3 years.
